The Caribbean – An Ideal Wedding & Honeymoon Location

An increasing number of couples are choosing to get married abroad, and Caribbean destination weddings are an increasingly popular choice. This is not surprising, given the beauty of the islands, and the wonderful weather in the region.  The Caribbean is the perfect location for both a spectacular wedding, and the honeymoon – why travel any further, when you area already in paradise?
It really makes no difference whether you are inviting just a few close people or several family members and relatives when you are hosting a Caribbean wedding.  Be it a dozen people or hundreds, the Caribbean is a place where everyone will enjoy themselves and remember forever the wedding that took place on a beautiful island.

Most wedding planning agencies that offer Caribbean weddings will allow you to choose the island that your wedding is held on.  This can be the hardest part of arranging the wedding, since all of the islands are so beautiful.  There are resorts that offer special wedding packages that include everything you could possibly need – from the ceremony and reception, to rooms for everyone attending, and a honeymoon suite on top.

You still need to use some caution when picking out your wedding package.  Just like any other package holiday, the facilities can vary from package to package.  To avoid disappointment, it is a good idea to confirm what is on offer – make a list of everything you would need if you were arranging the wedding yourself, and double check with the planner to make sure that everything on the list is included in the price for the Caribbean wedding package that you are considering.  If the package does not offer everything you want, then look for others that clearly state what they are offering.
