Honeymoon Travel Tips for the Perfectionist Husband-to-Be

Honeymoon vacations only happen once.  So, it has to be nothing short of perfect.  If you are the perfectionist husband-to-be who is planning to perfect honeymoon for you and your soon-to-be wife, then here are a few ideas to help plan a memorable honeymoon together.

Aside from the wedding itself, honeymoon travel preparation is one of the rare situations in your life which demands a perfectionist attitude. You have to make sure that everything goes well from the accommodations up to the way you apply your aftershave. Your wife will greatly remember in detail your very first few days as a couple together, so it is only fair that you give her the time of her life. Your perfect honeymoon need not be expensive but you can help a lot by investing a lot of meaningful things, thoughts and actions in it.

Where Should You Go?

Here are some useful tips on how to pick the right  destination  for your honeymoon at a price you can afford.

1. Activity.

What do you want to do? If you and your new wife are avid scuba divers, you may want to spend your time in nearby states known for their white sand beaches and spectacular underwater sceneries. If your budget allows, you may have a dream honeymoon in the tropics or the Caribbean.

If you’re up for some peaceful and quiet time together, you can basically check out honeymoon packages offered by resorts, hotels and cruise lines . Some of these offer you independence while there are also available preplanned trips.  Consider the weather as well when choosing a honeymoon destination. If the wedding is in winter, you may have to travel to sunnier states or overseas to find fantastic beaches.

Of course, if you and your future wife are ski-lovers, then head to the slopes for a romantic and fun fulled ski vacation .

2. Budget.

Even if your budget is tight, it is still possible to honeymoon away from home. You will effectively find the right honeymoon destination by looking at your budget. Choosing the right transportation is crucial to save money. Instead of flying, you may travel by land. Taking a ship can also be economical and romantic at the same time. Your accommodations can be cheaper if you know anyone living in the area who would be willing to share a room or let you rent a weekend house for a lower cost.
