Who Else Is Looking For Cheaper Honeymoon Vacations?
Getting married can be as expensive or as cheap as you want it to be. And when it comes to your honeymoon, you want to have the time of your life, and you don't have to break the bank to do it. All that is required is a bit of creativity and a sense of adventure and you can have a great honeymoon vacation on a shoestring. Here are 5 easy ways to cut the costs of your honeymoon vacation.
1. Travel nearer. You don’t have to go abroad to find the perfect ambiance and experience unique culture. There are local areas that are particularly known for holding traditional events with unique practices. There are also spots conveniently located near you which offer scenic backgrounds and privacy. These may be reached via land trip and traveling by train or a private vehicle gives you more quality time as well. If you’re planning to travel by air, choose smaller airlines and the economy class.
2. Find a package. Several places offer package deals for honeymoon vacations. Couples get to have their dream getaway without having to worry about how much each activity would cost. Accommodations, activities, services and special honeymoon gift items are all included in some packages that can cost as low as a few hundred dollars. Make reservations online or try to benefit from last-minute deals. Doing so can turn out to be significantly cheaper.
3. Home exchange. You can advertise your home on the internet months before your honeymoon wherein people from all over the world may be interested for a temporary swap that lasts as long as your vacation. You get to choose the available homes and locations offered by potential home exchange partners. You’re already getting free accommodations this way.
4. Honeymoon registry. You can put up an account online and invite loved ones to visit your page. The page will entail your dream wedding, wedding gifts and honeymoon and visitors can give monetary contributions via credit card.
5. Off-season honeymoon vacations. Have your honeymoon during the autumn or winter months to cut accommodation and travel costs by as much as 50%. There are still a variety of things to do and unique cultures to observe regardless of the weather.
Anyone of the tips above can help you save lots of money on your honeymoon without sacrificing the fun!

It´s very easy these days if you shop around to find really cheap flights, I think if you are trying to organize a honeymoon on a budget, you might find it cheaper to book everything separately rather than opting for a package. I travel quite a lot from England to Mallorca and sometimes to Greece and I've even managed to book a flight for a penny, yes a penny! Plus taxes of course but the price altogether 1 way was about 20 pounds and coming back 30 pounds. That was with Ryanair, they cover most of Europe and can save you quite a lot of money, more to spend on your wedding!
