Arranging Your Caribbean Honeymoon

Preparing for a honeymoon is very exciting, but it can also be rather stressful – especially if you are responsible for those arrangements yourself, as well as getting ready for your stag or hen night celebrations, and the wedding itself!

Getting ready for the honeymoon can be quite stressful, and if you are considering a Caribbean honeymoon, or one anywhere else, for that matter, it may be a good idea to speak with your travel agent and get them to arrange a lot of your honeymoon for you.

Getting Help

Enlisting the help of a travel agent need not be expensive – there are lots of travel agents who offer affordable, quality vacation packages.  If you have a travel agent that you use for other forms of travel – personal, or business, hten consulting them is a good idea.  Ask friends and family too, and see if you can find a trustworthy travel agent who will offer you the services you need, at a reasonable price.

Somebody in your circle of friends and family members must have gotten married recently and went to the Caribbean for their honeymoon or somebody must know a good travel agent who knows how to find you the best accommodations for your honeymoon.

Getting Ready For The Trip

Even if you are having a travel agent make most of the arrangements for your Caribbean honeymoon, there will be some preparations that you will need to make yourself.  Get together some outfits that will be suitable for the weather in the Caribbean – you will need some casual clothes, and perhaps some more dressy clothes for the evenings.  Don't forget to take some clothing suitable for the beach, or swim-wear if you think you will need it.  You may need to buy some clothes specially for the occasion. Also, remember to take some sunblock too.

You will be able to buy some things while you are in the Caribbean, but the more you can take with you, the better – as you will have more time to enjoy yourself and have fun with your spouse, and will need to spend less time shopping if you are able to bring most of the things you need from home. You will save a lot of money that way, too.

Make a checklist to make sure that you don't forget anything – cross off items as you pack them, and then double check before zipping up the luggage.  Don't be tempted to get anything back out of the suitcase, as you will just confuse yourself about what is packed and what is not!
